BoreHoles Safe Water
Our Mission
Access to safe water remains one of the biggest challenges facing the global community. In 2002, the United Nation's conference on sustainable development (in Johannesburg, South Africa) estimated that more than 1.5 billion people lack safe drinking water and 2.5 billion lack access to adequate sanitation. Globally, the UN conference estimates that $100 billion will be needed annually to provide safe water and good sanitation.
Our mission is to ensure that rural communities of the world have access to safe drinking water and good sanitation. Our action plan and results include:
Benefits

Enhanced access to safe drinking water; Environmental sustainability through active involvement of local indigenes; maximization of social and health benefits through sanitation and hygiene education; and effective mobilization and use of resources through partnering programs with local ministries and private sector.
